Rules for the users

1. The library provides free access to the informations for the users through its regular services, according to the law and this set of rules, based on the issued library card.

2. The subscription is made every year, by signing the contract between the library and the user (Identity documents required).

3. For children under 14 the subsciption requires the identity documents of one of his parents or legal guardian who will take the full responsability for the children behaviour.

4. The library card is non-transmissible.

5. According to the publication status (not for / for circulation ) all the services are granted on the ground of the forms completed and signed by the users, these being then used for the evidences and statistics.

6. When the users receive the publications or non-publications he / she must check their condition and the correct registering in order to avoid subsequent disagreements or penalties.

7. Lending is available only for persons who are residents or they are working or studying in Neamţ County.

8. Every users is allowed to borrow (take home) up to 3 publications or non-publications for maximum 14 days, limit which can be prolonged only once, considering the general needs and priorities, with the approval of the librarian. The user can come to the library or he / she can call.

9. According to the circulation demand, importance and subject, the librarian can limit the number of the publication or the duration.

10. The users can benefit of some others libraries services having the borrowing between libraries opportunity (30 days time limit and the publication will be consulted only in the study rooms).

11. Losing the library card, overdue terms and damaging the library's goods are sanctionated as follows:

a) a new library card (if lost) - 2 lei;

b) postal or phone reminders of delays - 3 lei

c) postal notification of due amounts of money - 4 lei

d) losing the number issued at the cloakroom - 3 lei

12. The paid damages for the distroying, deterioration or overdue terms are evaluated according to the present cultural and market value and they will be subsequently sent to the local budget.

13. The users must announce the librarian about changes in identity, address or contageous diseases which are active during the time in which he / she comes in the library.

14. Disobeying these rules as well as the ones regarding the order, quietness and personal hygiene in the public institutions can have as a consequence the temporary suspension or the annulment of the library card.
